  • The article says in 1998, 2004 and 2010 he was elected councilor the Regional Council of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, where he sits as First Vice-President, in charge of Economical Development. So what ? Elected three times, failed once: he deserves articles, doesn't he ? Pldx1 (talk) 16:33, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Withdraw. Although some of the previous reasons for keeping are invalid, as Nord-Pas-de-Calais is a first-level subnational jurisdiction, there is enough there meet WP:POLITICIAN. The article is almost entirely about his failed candidacy. It appears I missed the successful sections. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 03:53, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
